TASTING NOTES

Hermann Maier & Salzl – A visit with consequences

In early summer 2022, the world star among skiers – Hermann Maier – visited our winery. With Raiffeisen, he visited Austrian entrepreneurs and documented their paths to success.
Cuvéetieren particularly appealed to Maier, a man of pleasure – initial fun eventually turned serious and Hermann Maier created his own red wine. The result: a red cuvée as explosive and powerful as Maier was known to be on his best descents. Impressively dense, dark berry and full-bodied.
